Nick Bithrey, Analyst Programmer

“The work is very rewarding as we work as a team to produce a well-designed and maintained product that achieves fantastic results.”

I work as an Analyst Programmer within the wholesale finance division of Sword Apak. My main roles include Java programming, design in web applications and I work on the v6 wholesale finance software.

Sword Apak was a great opportunity for me as I saw it as a challenge. I had always loved programming and after doing physics at Bristol University I wanted to expand my horizons. What was most appealing was Sword Apak’s prestigious reputation; I could be part of a company that wasn’t too small or too large, meaning I could contribute well.

My favourite aspect of working at Sword Apak is the atmosphere. The staff work well together and we enjoy what we do. The job is very rewarding as we work as a team to produce a well- designed and maintained product that achieves fantastic results.
